Founder and
Managing Director Cortex I.T.


Linus founded Cortex I.T. Pty Ltd in 2001, with the vision of developing niche software applications for small and medium businesses. Linus speciality is in finding market opportunities, and satisfying market demands through software and technology.

Often described as visionary, Linus unique blend of technical and marketing skills has led him to become one of Australia's most successful young technology entrepreneurs.

Prior to founding Cortex I.T., Linus worked in consulting and engineering roles for some of Australia's best known organizations - BHP, Telstra and Yooralla and Monash University, in roles varying from analyst programmer to team leader. In his youth, Linus was one of Australia's foremost computer programmers, even representing Australia at international competition level.

In his spare time, Linus enjoys playing the piano and hiking, and supports charities including World Vision, Save the Children and the Australian Conservation Foundation.

Steven chua



Steven Chua

and Business Development Manager


Steven has diverse experience in sales, sales support, product implementation and software development.

Before joining the Cortex I.T. team, Steven worked in Malaysia. Recruited by start-up company DBIX Systems, Steven built up from scratch and maintained a network of resellers and direct clients, and quickly became the firm's top performing sales executive.

Working for Platinum Technologies / Computer Associates, Steven was involved in pre-sales support, sales visits, competitive tender processing, site visits and technical issue call outs.

In Australia, his position with Accenture saw him consulting in a team leader and management role for Australia's two largest telecommunications companies - Telstra and Optus.

Steven is married with two children.
